Despite heavy rain, hundreds of applicants flocked to the Civil Service Commission National Capital Region (CSC NCR) Government Job Fair 2024.
Among the positions filled were supervisory, technical, and administrative roles, as well as general services.
Permanent and non-permanent government positions were open for application in the one-day job fair. Some government agencies even conducted their interviews with applicants right at the job fair itself.
Taguig City Mayor Lani Cayetano attended the job fair and was greeted by Civil Service Commissioner Aileen Lourdes Lizada.

CSC NCR Regional Director Victoria Esber expressed her pleasure at the large number of participants in the job fair. "We are thrilled with the turnout and the enthusiasm of the job seekers who are determined to make their mark in public service."
Cayetano also stated that the rain did not deter their partners in public service from continuing with the job fair, led by Esber and supported by Taguig City HRMO Chief Jeanette Clemente.
"I wish the applicants all the very best! And if they are accepted into the government agencies, I pray that they will become excellent, honest, and diligent public servants," said Cayetano.
