A couple was held up at gunpoint and had their motorcycle stolen by two men, also on motorcycles, who initially asked for a screw. The incident took place at 5:00 am, January 26, 2025, in front of the Ridgewood Premiere Tower on C5 Road Barangay Ususan, Taguig City.
Their red Honda Click 125 with the plate number 1380-1176288 was stolen by a man wearing a helmet from the ride-hailing service Angkas and his accomplice, after they threatened the couple with a gun.
According to Jowena Rameri, they were stopped in front of the aforementioned condominium when the two men on motorcycles approached them and asked if they had a spare screw.
Shortly afterward, they were threatened with a gun. Fearful for their lives, they ran for safety, and the robbers quickly made away with their motorcycle.
Rameri appeals to anyone who might spot or be offered the stolen motorcycle to immediately contact her through her Facebook account, Jowena Rameri.
"It's heartbreaking. My boyfriend spent three years paying for that, only for it to be taken by people who do nothing but steal," Rameri posted on the Facebook Page of Taguig.com.
"The two of them came to us riding on the same motorcycle. They asked us if we had a screw. We told them we didn't have one, but they stayed nearby, then they parked their motorcycle beside ours. Suddenly, they pulled out their gun and threatened us, forcing us and my boyfriend to run away from our motorcycle. The motorcycle key was still in the ignition, so they were able to take it right away," Rameri further reported on Taguig.com.
The victims have filed a report with the police and hope that good Samaritan netizens might spot their motorcycle and report its whereabouts.
