Several areas in Iran, including Tehran, were targeted by air strikes from the United States and Israel yesterday, February 28, 2026. In response, Iran fired missiles towards the US military bases in the Middle East, as well as Israeli military facilities in Tel Aviv.
According to some Filipinos residing and working in Doha, Qatar, and Dubai, United Arab Emirates, they are hearing explosions resulting from debris from missile drones.
Embassies have reminded Filipinos to be vigilant and cautious, and to contact the nearest embassy if needed.
