Wei Hanbing has been long sought by Chinese authorities as he is wanted for concealing profits from criminal activities.
Wang Bo and Wang Zhaoshan are wanted for fraud.
Guo Dong, on the other hand, is involved in illegal businesses.
The four fugitives from Chinese law were among the foreigners arrested by police in a raid on a suspected cryptocurrency investment and love scam hub in Parañaque City on August 22, 2024.
The raided establishment had been masquerading as a licensed offshore gaming operator to hide their criminal activities.
Sixty-seven foreigners were arrested by NCRPO in the said hub in Parañaque City at 2:00 in the morning of August 22.
The police served a search warrant to investigate the use of computers and other gadgets for fraudulent activities. A deep penetration agent was inserted into the company under the guise of an employee to gather sufficient evidence for the search warrant.
Over 400 individuals were working in the scam hub, which housed a studio, offices, sleeping quarters, and a lounge used for scamming. Some Filipinas were used as models, seductively performing in front of the camera to entice victims into the love scam and cryptocurrency scam.
The suspects will face charges for violating the Cybercrime Prevention Act and the Securities Regulation Code. Their deportation documents are being processed, and in due time, they will face their charges in China.
