These tablets will be utilized by the teachers as an aid in teaching their students and in carrying out their daily tasks.
A workshop was also conducted following the tablet distribution to teach the educators how to use their new tablets.
Each tablet is equipped with advanced security features, like an auto-lock system in case of theft, and a tracking device to locate the tablet if it goes missing.
The tablets also come with a keyboard and a digital S pen that can be used for typing or drawing purposes by the teachers.
Mayor Lani Cayetano stated the importance of distributing these tablets to teachers in order to make teaching more orderly, convenient, and effective in this modern age.
"Our administration's genuine concern is reaching our goal to be a transformative, lively, and caring city. What we are giving you is not just a material thing. It also comes with the hope that you will become more proficient and effective in teaching. We want to ensure that, as educators, you have the tools to keep up with the fast-paced changes in the world, especially in the field of technology," Cayetano said.
The mayor also highlighted the significant role of teachers in achieving exemplary changes in the city of Taguig. "Your role in educating the youth is very important. We owe it to our students and teachers alike to provide them with an environment that fosters growth and development. Therefore, each tablet we distribute carries a deeper meaning - that you are a part of our journey towards a better future."
