The intermittent downpour of heavy rain continues in Metro Manila and neighboring provinces due to the departing Typhoon Enteng, which is enhancing the southwest monsoon tonight, September 3, 2024, and will persist until the early hours of September 4, 2024.



According to the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration, a Yellow Warning is currently raised over Zambales and Bataan, as per their bulletin issued just at 11:00 PM on September 3.

PAGASA warns of the possibility of flooding and landslides in these provinces.

Meanwhile, Metro Manila, Nueva Ecija, Batangas, Cavite, Laguna, Tarlac, Pampanga, Bulacan, Rizal, and Quezon are experiencing moderate to occasional heavy rainfall, which is expected to last for three hours or until early dawn.

PAGASA reminds Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Offices in local government units to monitor the weather conditions and await the next rainfall warning to be issued at 2:00 AM.

As of 10:00 PM, Typhoon Enteng was 210 kilometers northwest of Laoag City, maintaining its strength and movement.
