The Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) has formally transferred 1.7 hectares of prime land in Fort Bonifacio to the City Government of Taguig.

This was stated in the deed of conveyance signed between the City Government of Taguig and the BCDA, which took place at the Taguig Satellite Office in SM Aura Office Tower on January 27, 2025.

The signing ceremony that transferred the prime assets in Fort Bonifacio to the City Government of Taguig was led by Taguig City Mayor Lani Cayetano and BCDA President and CEO Engr. Joshua Bingcang.

Witnessing the event were BCDA Vice President Richard Brian Cepe, and Business Permits and Licensing Office Head Atty. Ma. Theresa Veloso.

The BCDA transferred all rights, titles, interests and ownership of the mentioned 1.7 hectares of land in Fort Bonifacio to the City Government of Taguig.

Bingcang stated that this is proof of their steadfast and ongoing cooperation with the City Government and the importance of further collaborations, which he said, are in line with the continued development of Bonifacio Global City (BGC).

"After this signing, we will continue to have more coordination and partnership with your office to ensure that the ongoing development of BGC is aligned with our goals and objectives," Bingcang assured.
