The Makati City Police apprehended the man, known as "alias Bonifacio," in his home in Barangay Pembo on December 17, 2025, with the cooperation of the police and barangay officials.
It was learned that "alias Bonifacio" approached the victim at a party in Barangay Pitogo, where she was with two friends.
The suspect separated the victim from her friends and allegedly took her to Guadalupe Apartelle II, Barangay Guadalupe Nuevo, Makati City.
According to the victim, she was assaulted there by the suspect.
The victim lodged a complaint with the police, accompanied by her mother.
"Alias Bonifacio" has been charged with violating Republic Act 11648, or Statutory Rape.
Police Brig. General Randy Arceo, District Director of the Southern Police, said their protection of women's and children's rights and safety continues, and encouraged the public to immediately report any incidents of abuse.
