DSWD-Taguig clinched eight of the ten awards at the ceremony held at the Crown Legacy Hotel in Baguio City on November 17, 2023.
With the theme "For a Resilient Future, We are the Solution! #NCRLAGINGHANDA," Taguig reigned in categories showcasing excellence in social services and disaster response initiatives.
DSWD-Taguig won the first prize as Most Exemplary in Yearly Accomplishments (Climate Change Adaptation and Mitigation Category).
It also captured the first prize in the Most Exemplary in Public Speaking category.
Meanwhile, it placed second in the Most Exemplary in Advocacy Campaign, Photo story, Most Exemplary in Exhibit, and Most Exemplary in Disaster Response Operations Reporting.
It garnered third place in the One-Practice Narrative and Most Exemplary in Short-video Presentation.
The recognitions were received by Lyzza Estacio and Almer Abordonado from the City Social Welfare and Development, Maria Kristina M. Jacinto from the Incident Management team of the City Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office, Alaine Keith M. De Leon from the Taguig Open Weather and Environmental Reporting System, and Diana Marie Nobio from the Taguig Public Information Office.
