The Taguig City Government is primed to tackle situations arising from the heavy rainfall induced by Typhoon Enteng and the intensified monsoon.
Despite the government work suspensions, Mayor Lani Cayetano and the City Social Welfare Department team, led by Nikki Rose Operario, continue their monitoring from Taguig City Hall.
The City Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO) team has been tirelessly working to respond to fallen trees and branches caused by the storm. The Flood Management Office (FMO) is also being proactive in cleaning waterways and canals to ensure flood prevention within the city.
"I want to express my gratitude to our frontliners for their diligent care of our province-city. Amidst our confrontation with Typhoon Enteng, we again saw the preparedness of evacuation centers in case our citizens need shelter, and the local government's response to the situations identified and raised by our fellow citizens," the mayor stated in a post on her own Facebook Page, Lani Cayetano.
