The arrest warrant was served on the morning of February 4, 2026, to a man known as Jefferson, a 40-year-old unemployed individual, at his residence on Dimasalang Street, Barangay Hagonoy.
According to the arresting officers from the Southern Police District and Taguig City Police, Jefferson is the 9th Most Wanted Person (Station Level) in Taguig, and has been sentenced for violating Section 11, Article II of Republic Act 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, under Criminal Case No. 16235-D.
The warrant was issued by Judge Marivic Cudilla Vitor, Presiding Judge of the Regional Trial Court, Branch 266, Taguig City, just this past January.
A statement from the Southern Police District read, "This successful operation illustrates the Southern Police District's continuing efforts to track down wanted persons and enforce the rule of law, particularly against individuals involved in illegal drugs, in line with the Philippine National Police's commitment to public safety and accountability."
