Typhoon Enteng is expected to leave the country this morning, but it remains to enhance the Southwest Monsoon that would continue to cause rain in several parts of the country.

In the latest bulletin from PAGASA at 11:00 PM last night, September 3, 2024, Severe Tropical Storm Enteng was spotted 210 kilometers west, northwest of Laoag City. It carries winds of 95 kilometers near the center and gustiness of up to 115 kilometers per hour.
It is slowly moving west, northwest at 10 kilometers per hour.
Wind signal number one is raised over the following areas due to the strength of the wind: Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, northern part of La Union (Luna, Santol, San Juan, Bagulin, Bangar, San Gabriel, Bacnotan, Sudipen, Balaoan, San Fernando), and Abra.
Rainfall is expected in the afternoon of September 4 in Ilocos Norte and Ilocos Sur with 20 to 100 millimeters of rain. It will affect high or mountainous areas prompting PAGASA to warn of possible landslides and flooding.
PAGASA also warned that the enhanced Southwest Monsoon or Habagat will bring moderate to heavy rainfall to other parts of Luzon, particularly the western part, in the next three days.
The enhanced Monsoon will bring strong wind gusts and rain on September 4 in the following areas: Ilocos Region, Abra, Benguet, Isabela Zambales, Bataan, Aurora, Bulacan, Metro Manila, CALABARZON, MIMAROPA, Bicol Region, Western Visayas, Negros Island, and Northern Samar.
On Thursday, September 5, the same conditions are expected in: Ilocos Region, Isabela, Zambales, Bataan, Aurora, Bulacan, Metro Manila, CALABARZON, MIMAROPA, Bicol Region, Western Visayas, Negros Island, and Northern Samar.
PAGASA also warns of potentially hazardous sea travel, particularly for small seacraft, due to rough seas and strong winds.
