According to the SPD, after conducting investigations and confirmations through the Southern District Anti-Cybercrime Team (SDACT), it has been proven that the viral videos of the said snatching incidents on C5 Road are old videos, some of which took place as far back as 2023 and 2024.

They stated that Sub Station 3 of the Taguig City Police Station has not recorded any recent snatching incidents.

The Taguig City Police Station assured that they have strengthened their fight against crime, including increasing the number of deployed police, setting up checkpoints and chokepoint operations, and collaborating with the Public Order and Safety Office (POSO) of Taguig.

The patrol on C5 Road and other areas has also been increased to prevent criminal activities.

Meanwhile, in relation to the brawl that occurred on the footbridge of Bicutan Interchange, the SPD clarified that this location is not under the jurisdiction of Taguig City, but rather falls under Paranaque City.

According to the SPD, they have also conducted inspections in the area and the Paranaque City Police Station assured that security in the area will be tightened further.

"We urge the public to remain vigilant and to report any suspicious activities to the nearest police station. The Southern Police District remains steadfast in its commitment to ensuring the safety and security of our communities," the SPD stated.
