The Civil Aeronautics Board (CAB) has increased the fuel surcharge to Level 19 for flights booked from April 16 to April 30, 2026.
According to the CAB, this level could result in additional charges of:
• Up to ₱1,834 for domestic flights
• Up to ₱15,397.15 for international flights
This is among the highest fuel surcharge levels implemented, albeit still lower than the maximum allowed Level 20.
Meanwhile, several international carriers, including United Airlines, have made adjustments to their airfare following the continuous rise in fuel costs in the global market. This is effective until April 30, 2026.
