A dawn ceremony was held at Libingan ng mga Bayani in Fort Andres Bonifacio, Taguig City, in honor of ANZAC Day. The event brought together members of the diplomatic community and military in solemn remembrance.
Ambassador Dana Kursh was among those in attendance.
Her Excellency Dr. Catherine Rosemary McIntosh, Ambassador of New Zealand to the Philippines, highlighted the shared history of loss among Australia, New Zealand, and Türkiye. Meanwhile, Australian Ambassador Marc Innes-Brown and Turkish Ambassador Niyazi Evren Akyol shared a poem on remembrance and reconciliation.
The ceremony emphasized respect, unity, and a shared hope for peace.
