Barangay East Rembo disbursed financial aid to 40 tricycle drivers and 60 motorcycle taxi drivers or delivery service providers in the barangay yesterday, June 9, 2026, to supplement their fuel expenses.

Through the barangay's Fuel Subsidy Program, registered drivers who are legitimate residents of Barangay East Rembo each received ₱1,000.

"This initiative aims to help ease the burden of rising fuel costs and provide assistance to tricycle and Service Motorcycle drivers," said the barangay under the leadership of Captain Thelma Ramirez.

The distribution took place at the East Rembo Covered Court on 6th Avenue yesterday at 2:00 PM.
