The Taguig City Fire Station - Station 9 West Rembo Fire Station issued a stern reminder about avoiding fireworks during their patrol last December 28, 2025, in two EMBO barangays in Taguig.
Under the supervision of SFO3 Reward L Abucay, Acting Station Commander, and under the leadership of Fire Superintendent Garynel Julian, City Fire Marshal, an information campaign was carried out by its personnel in Barangay Cembo and Barangay West Rembo to also avoid fires among the Taguigeños.
Assisting in the campaign to avoid firecrackers were the West Rembo Fire Brigade, West Rembo Ambulance, and Cembo Fire Brigade.
They distributed fire safety leaflets and went around while making a public address advisory, reminding citizens to take care of themselves and their properties in celebration of the New Year.
"The continuous information drives, coupled with active community participation and an intensified presence in the area, aim to raise awareness about fire prevention, promote responsible and safe celebrations, and prevent fire-related incidents," said the Bureau of Fire Protection - National Capital Region - Taguig City.
