Several buildings are preparing for natural disasters such as earthquakes, especially with the so-called "Big One" potentially happening anytime in Metro Manila.
In preparation, the Bamberton Center, an 18-story building in Arca South, Barangay Western Bicutan, Taguig City, is utilizing QuakeSafe seismic isolation technology to enhance structural stability and strengthen the building's resistance to any tremors.

This office and commercial development is being constructed by Maxblocks Construction Corporation.
The building features four basement levels and base-isolation technology to minimize movement of its foundation during earthquakes.
The system at the Bamberton Center uses 42 sets of high-damping rubber bearings from Bridgestone Japan and supports such as flexible pipe connections and seismic gap covers.
