DSWD Secretary Rex Gatchalian admitted, during a meeting at the DSWD Headquarters in Quezon City with representatives from the Transport Network Companies (TNCs) on April 1, that filtering active, inactive, and legitimate riders posed a challenge, causing delays in the payout completion.

As a result, the DSWD encouraged TNCs to intensify communication with their riders to ensure all eligible beneficiaries are adequately notified for the scheduled special payout.

This is in accordance with the strict directive of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. to ensure no one is left behind in the support distribution for Public Utility Vehicle (PUV) drivers who have been greatly affected by the rising prices of petroleum products.
