Accompanied by Councilors Raul Aquino and Edgar Baptista, the cash gift of P100,000 was presented to Lola Miling, a benefit provided to Taguigeño residents who reach 100 years of age and continues to be given on each birthday while they are still alive.
Other senior citizens also receive corresponding cash gifts on their birthdays, based on their age group.
They can receive amounts ranging from P3,000 to P10,000 depending on their age bracket, according to City Ordinance No. 25 series of 2017.
