Mayor Sotto also expressed his gratitude towards former Transportation Secretary Vince Dizon and Acting Secretary Lopez as the project can now commence.
"Due to several legal issues, the project was delayed. Now, with the writ of possession and all necessary permits, there should be no further roadblocks. Credit to former DOTR Sec. [now DPWH] Vince Dizon because it was under his leadership that these issues were settled. Even an issue concerning the LGU, which had been discussed for years, he was able to resolve," according to Mayor Sotto.
In the meantime, two more stations for the Metro Manila Subway are planned in Taguig City, specifically on 11th Avenue and 38 Street in Bonifacio Global City and on Kalayaan Avenue.
Seventeen stations are expected to be built for the Metro Manila Subway, stretching from Valenzuela City to Parañaque City.
