In an interview with Taguig.com, Captain Vertulfo disclosed that theft of electricity was discovered earlier today, July 11, 2026, from Block 3 to Block 5.
"Do not steal the electricity lines in Zone 3. We provide lights in the area for the welfare and safety of the citizens. I hope people realize that what the barangay is doing is for the citizens, because well-lit streets and alleys provide safety and peace of mind for those who pass by," Vertulfo stated on social media.
He also reported that the suspected electricity thieves have been vandalizing the CCTV cameras in the area.
The stolen electricity lines in the area have been promptly replaced.
