The Land Registration Authority (LRA) has ordered the transfer of all transactions related to land properties in the EMBO (enlisted men's barrio) barangays under the jurisdiction of the city government of Taguig.

According to LRA Administrative Order No. 2024-23, effective January 1, 2024, all transactions related to Parcels 3 and 4, PSU-2031 covering Fort Bonifacio or properties within the scope of the Supreme Court decision dated December 1, 2021 (G.R. No. 235316), must be conducted and registered with the Registry of Deeds (RD) of Taguig City.

The EMBO barangays that have been transferred to the jurisdiction of Taguig are Cembo, Comembo, East Rembo, Pembo, Pitogo, Post Proper Northside, Post Proper Southside, Rizal, South Cembo, and West Rembo.

The LRA directive states, "RD Makati City is enjoined from exercising jurisdiction over the properties. RD Taguig City is instructed to handle and process all transactions involving properties covered by the SC Decision. For inquiries, visit the Registry of Deeds on the 8th floor of SM Aura Tower in BGC, Barangay Fort Bonifacio."

The LRA is a government agency under the Department of Justice, responsible for issuing directives related to registration and certificates of title, registering documents, patents, and other land transactions.
