Firefighters discovered that work was being carried out on the roof deck of the W High Street building when the fire broke out.
The incident was confirmed at 2:27 PM when it was discovered that the roof deck of the said high-rise building was on fire, and the first alarm was declared by SFO1 Verosil at 2:39 PM.
Thanks to the prompt response of the firefighters, the fire was declared out by Fire Senior Inspector Lopez at 4:23 PM.
Among those responding to the scene were firefighters from the Barangay New Lower Bicutan Fire and Rescue Brigade, including Justin Gatapia and Frederick Romero, and fire truck driver Rosendo Magpantay.
