This follows a recommendation from the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council to suspend work and school due to the areas that will be affected by Super Typhoon Nando and the Southwest Monsoon.

However, agencies that provide basic, important, and health services, as well as those involved in disaster preparedness and response, must ensure that there are still staff on duty to help those in need.

Government agencies and employees may provide services through approved alternative means as per the law and standards.

In areas not included in the list, local governments may also cancel operations if necessary.

For private companies, the decision to implement work suspension is left to their leaders.
