The largest gathering of international and local artists for a graffiti, street art, and mural festival is taking place in Taguig City for the second year.

The "Meeting of Styles" began on May 3, 2024, at Mural Park in TLC Village, Laguna Lake Highway / C6, Barangay Lower Bicutan, Taguig City as part of the celebration for the 437th anniversary of Taguig.

Shipping containers are currently serving as the canvas for these international and local artists.

The public can still view these artworks at TLC Village until May 12, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

At the opening of "Meeting of Styles" on May 3, Taguig City Mayor Lani Cayetano assured her support for the artists and the local art scene.

"I'm so happy to welcome our foreign guests from across the globe to collaborate with our local artists. Your presence here today brings so much color to our celebration. I hope this event will inspire other Filipino artists as we present Taguig as a city that gives importance to culture and the arts," said Cayetano.

Ninety artists from various parts of the world participated, including talented artists from Australia, Malaysia, Germany, France, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Mexico, Brunei, Chile, the United States, Indonesia, and Saudi Arabia.

Among the Taguig artists included in this event are Nemo, Sink1, Wizo, Bvrn, and Restok, as well as other local artists such as Quiccs, Trip63, Egg Fiasco, Chill, Kookoo, Meow, Nevs, Creon, EXLD, and many more.

The organizer of "Meeting of Styles," Tripp Martinez, expressed his gratitude to the city government of Taguig for allowing the use of the Mural Park for the second time.

Over the past two decades, the Meeting of Styles has been the largest annual international event for graffiti, street, and mural artists since it arrived in the Philippines in 2015.
