"There are no ghost projects in Taguig," declared Senate Minority Leader Alan Peter Cayetano, challenging anyone to provide proof if such projects exist, for which he is ready to answer.

Cayetano made this claim during a social media live video, in response to allegations by Senator Panfilo Lacson about the existence of ghost flood control projects in Taguig.

Cayetano mentioned that the Office of the Ombudsman had previously examined the projects in Taguig and found no ghost projects related to flood control.

Meanwhile, the Public Works and Highways Secretary Vince Dizon confirmed that the Department is verifying Lacson's allegations.

He added that he has tasked the District Engineer of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) with this investigation.
