The developing weather disturbance, or Low Pressure Area (LPA), is estimated to be situated 650 kilometers east of Infanta, Quezon (14.7°N, 127.7°E) as of 3:00 AM this morning, July 1, 2025.

This is further accompanied by the Southwest Monsoon affecting the Visayas, Mindanao, Central Luzon, and Southern Luzon.

The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Administration (PAGASA) reported that the following areas are expected to experience rainfall today:

The Bicol Region, Isabela, Quirino, Aurora, and Quezon. Landslides and sudden flooding are possible due to moderate to heavy rainfall brought about by the LPA.

The same situation is anticipated in the following areas:

Metro Manila, the Visayas, MIMAROPA, the Zamboanga Peninsula, Northern Mindanao, Caraga, and the remaining parts of Central Luzon and CALABARZON due to the Southwest Monsoon.

The remaining parts of Mindanao will be cloudy with scattered rain showers resulting from the Southwest Monsoon. Landslides and sudden flooding also remain possible.
