Misfortune met a woman and two men, as they were arrested and had over ₱1.3 million worth of illegal drugs seized after arranging a meeting with an undercover buyer at a fast food restaurant in Barangay Lower Bicutan, Taguig on May 25, 2026.

The Drug Enforcement Unit of the Southern Police District (SPD) and Taguig City Police Station confiscated approximately 200 grams of suspected shabu from the suspects known as Joharia, 23 years old; Yaser, 18 years old, and Jamal, 28 years old.

At around 11:28 PM, the trio met with the undercover buyer at a fast food restaurant in Barangay Lower Bicutan to complete the transaction.

Unbeknownst to them, other police officers were already on watch and immediately arrested them as soon as the payment was handed over for the illegal drugs.

Three packets of suspected shabu, one genuine ₱1,000 note, 99 pieces of ₱1,000 boodle money, and a cellular phone were seized from the suspects.

The illegal drugs weighed in at an estimated 200 grams, valued at approximately ₱1,360,000.

The three are now facing charges under Republic Act 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
