Meanwhile, Police Brig. General Manuel Abrugena of the Southern Police District said they will act immediately to ensure a fair investigation.

The dismissal of the nine officers from Taguig City Police Substation 5 came after a video footage shared by Cloe Amore, which showed the police conducting an investigation and allegedly brutalizing the residents they were arresting in Barangay Napindan, Taguig City last Sunday.
One video showed a man lying on the street who was later lifted into a police vehicle.
In a post by Li Miko, who shared three videos of the incident, it was claimed that the police attempted to erase all CCTV footage. However, some slipped through and were shared on social media. It was also alleged that the police erased the barangay's post about the incident.
Taguig City Police stated that should such incidents occur, those who wish to report can call the Taguig PNP Hotline at 09985987932 or 8642-3582, or visit their official Facebook Page, Taguig City Police Station.
