The celebrity couple reported that they, along with seven others, were swindled out of P8 million pesos when they invested in Cronus Holdings Corporation, which posed as a cryptocurrency company promising to grow their money after a one-year investment.

In May, the group enticed them again, promising to double their money in just two weeks.

However, Paul stated that two weeks had passed, and then a month, yet the group had not communicated with them or made their presence known.

According to Mikee, they let their money grow for one year, and after that, when they thought they were dealing with a legitimate operation, they invested again and their money was taken.

Unable to locate the group running Cronus Holdings Corporation, they have filed a fraud case against John David Del Castillo Ortiz, Margarita Ortiz-Tan, Ralph Francisco Torres, Defin Hernandez Villaruel, Jr., and Julian Vincent Ortanez Prado at the Makati City Regional Trial Court.

Paul and Mikee shared that those behind the company are all over twenty years old, with one member only recently graduating from college.

The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has confirmed that Cronus is registered with them, but they are not authorized to sell investment tools like the sale of cryptocurrency they carried out.
