Meralco announced that parts of Barangay Western Bicutan would experience power outages from June 25 to 26, 2024, as they replace posts and conduct line reconductoring and reconstruction on America Street in Enlisted Personnel Village 1, Barangay Western Bicutan, Taguig City. However, no exact start and end times for the work were provided.
On June 27, Barangay Western Bicutan will also be affected by temporary power supply interruptions due to facility replacement and line reconstruction works along East Service Road in Barangay Western Bicutan, Taguig.
From 12:30 a.m. to 4:30 a.m. on June 27, the Circuit Malibay 53VJ will be temporarily shut down, affecting parts of the East Service Road exit from East Service Road, including the Philippine Army Task Group Bantay Headquarters.
Temporary power outages will also occur on June 29, 2024, in parts of Barangay Comembo and East Rembo between 9:00 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. and between 1:30 p.m. and 2:00 p.m., along portions of Circuit Taguig 41ZL. This is due to line reconductoring works on J. P. Rizal St. in Barangay Comembo, Taguig City.
Affected areas include parts of Sampaguita St. from J. P. Rizal St. to 9th St. including Jollibee, and 8th and 9th Streets in Barangay Comembo.
From 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., parts of J. P. Rizal St. from 27th Avenue to Anahaw Street will be affected, including the Philippine Army Village Homeowners Association Inc. (PAVAI), KFC, Mercury Drugstore, Meriras Commercial Complex, Mormon Church, and Benigno "Ninoy" S. Aquino High School in Barangay Comembo and East Rembo.
Also affected by the power outage will be parts of Anahaw St. from J. P. Rizal St. to Apitong, Alagao, Aguho, Tanguile, 1st, 3rd, 4th and 5th Streets, and the Comembo Barangay Hall in Barangay Comembo.
On June 30, 2024, parts of Barangay Ususan and Barangay Western Bicutan will experience power outages from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., under the jurisdiction of Circuit Malibay 53VJ. This is due to line reconstruction and line reconductoring works on Carlos P. Garcia Ave. (C-5 Road) in Barangay Ususan, Taguig City.
Affected areas include parts of Carlos P. Garcia Ave. (C-5 Road) from Pinagsama Village Phase 2 to PDS Avenue, including parts of Diego Silang Village, MRB Condominium Compound, and the Bases Conversion & Development Authority (BCDA) Field Office in Barangay Ususan and Western Bicutan. Also affected is part of PDS Avenue from Carlos P. Garcia Avenue (C-5 Road) to Cypress Tower in Barangay Ususan.
Meralco is advising its customers in Taguig to prepare for these power interruptions on the specified days.
