The new Senate building in Taguig City is already eighty percent complete and is estimated to be fully finished by July of next year.

The original budget for the new Senate building was P8.9 billion, but it is now known to be over P10 billion.

The Senate will also coordinate with the Taguig city government to manage traffic in the area. The Senate is also advocating for a subway station at the location of the new building and a route leading to the Skyway.

Initially, the new Senate building was targeted to open in 2021, but due to the Covid-19 pandemic, its construction was delayed.
