The Taguig City Police Station conducted a two-day seminar for Project Patrolling and Response Operation To Empower CVO and Tanods (P.R.O.T.E.C.T.) in Barangay Tanyag, Taguig City, from May 24 to 25, 2024.

Under the leadership of Police Colonel Christopher Olazo, Acting Chief of Police of Taguig City, a session on foundational knowledge for responding to crimes was carried out for those in the barangay. The session was held on the fourth floor of Tanyag Barangay Hall.

Among the topics taught by PSSg Jeriel T Arendain were Basic Incident Report Writing, First Responder and Crime Scene Preservation, Comprehensive Topics on Dangerous Prohibited Drugs and Elements of Crimes.

Communication and radio codes were taught by PLt. Gumabay.

On the second day, PSMS Randulph Dalogdog shared essential knowledge regarding Citizen's Arrest, Arrest, Search and Seizures, and the Miranda Doctrine. PLt. Glenda Aquino, on the other hand, imparted knowledge on RA 9262, the Law Against Violence Against Women and their Children, RA 11313 known as the Safe Spaces Act, RA 7877 or the Anti-Sexual Harassment Act, and RA 8353, the Anti-Rape Law.

In the final segment, PCpl. Levy Hermosa taught the proper use of handcuffs and Basic Self Defense.
