This service is exclusively available this Wednesday to pet owners in Barangay Bagumbayan who have cats and dogs.
The following services are available free of charge:
• Pet Deworming
• Anti-rabies vaccination
• Pet tagging with a microchip
• Pet Consultation
• Vitamin shots and medication
• Neutering - 100 slots available.
Walk-ins for these services are welcome, with those arriving first being served first.
The only requirement is that the pet's owner must provide proof of residency in Taguig, such as a valid ID with a Taguig address.
In addition, pet owners should bring their pet's most recent anti-rabies vaccination card, a leash or cage for the pet, cleaning supplies, a plastic bag for waste, and ensure that pets are wearing diapers. Aggressive pets must be muzzled.
For pet deworming:
• The pet must be healthy
• The pet must be at least two weeks old
For the anti-rabies vaccination:
• The pet must be healthy and disease-free
• The pet must be at least three months old
• If the pet is female, it should not be in heat, pregnant, or lactating
• The pet should not have bitten anyone in the past 14 days
For cat neutering:
• Only one cat per pet owner
• The cat must be at least six months old and weigh over 3 kilograms
• The female cat should not be pregnant, lactating, or in heat
• The cat must be healthy and should not have been sick in the past two weeks
• The cat should not have bitten anyone in the past 14 days
• The cat should have fasted for 6-8 hours before the procedure
For dog neutering:
• Only one dog per pet owner
• The dog must be at least six months old and weigh over 4 kilograms
• The female dog should not be pregnant, lactating, or in heat
• The dog must be healthy and should not have been sick in the past two weeks
• The dog should not have bitten anyone in the past 14 days
• The dog should have fasted for 6-8 hours before the procedure
