Taguig City ranks as the fifth wealthiest city in the Philippines, according to the Commission on Audit (COA) annual financial report for 2022.

Quezon City owns the largest wealth among all cities worldwide, following its recorded assets of P443.3 billion last year.

Cebu topped the list of the richest provinces with assets amounting to P235.7 billion, while Carmona in Cavite emerged as the wealthiest municipality due to its assets valued at P6.5 billion. Carmona only became a city this July 2023.

In the same annual financial report on local governments by COA, it was revealed that Makati City is the second wealthiest city, with its assets valued at P239.4 billion, while Rizal province is the second wealthiest province as it owns assets worth P35.5 billion. Limay in Bataan is the second wealthiest municipality with its assets amounting to P5.7 billion.

Based on the COA's annual financial report, the ten wealthiest cities in the country are:
1. Quezon City - P443.406 billion
2. Makati City - P239.478 billion
3. Manila - P77.506 billion
4. Pasig City - P52.152 billion
5. Taguig City - P40.840 billion
6. Mandaue City - P34.231 billion
7. Cebu City - P30.545 billion
8. Mandaluyong City - P32.550 billion
9. Davao City - P29.701 billion
10. Parañaque City - P27.376 billion

The wealthiest provinces are:
1. Cebu - P235.738 billion
2. Rizal - P35.595 billion
3. Batangas - P31.999 billion
