The court had previously sentenced the man, known as Ronnie, a 31-year-old resident of Purok 5, PNR Site, Barangay Western Bicutan, Taguig City, but he had not immediately served his court judgment.
Enforced by a warrant of arrest, the District Mobile Force Battalion (DMFB) of the Southern Police District, with the aid of the District Special Operations Unit (DSOU), arrested Ronnie at 9:15 PM on July 30, 2025, outside a supermarket on DBP Avenue, Barangay Western Bicutan.
Ronnie is charged with violating Section 11, Article II of Republic Act 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act, a violation related to his service of sentence under Criminal Case No. 12198-D. This was released by the Honorable Bernard Pineda Bernal, Presiding Judge of the Regional Trial Court Branch 70 of Taguig City, on September 16, 2024.
Currently, Ronnie is detained at the Taguig City Police Headquarters Custodial Facility.
