The Taguig City Government will be sponsoring future doctors under its Invest Scholarship Program.

The Investing in the Value of Education through Stewardship for Taguigeños (INVEST) Scholarship Program was launched by the Taguig City Government at the New Taguig City Hall on October 8, 2025.

The Taguig City Government will provide financial support to qualified Taguig residents who wish to study medicine.

The scholars who pass the city's selection process will have their full tuition and miscellaneous fees covered, and will also receive a monthly allowance of up to ₱15,000.

Taguig City Mayor Lani Cayetano said that talented students who lack financial resources will no longer fear pursuing a medical education.

"With this program, our students will fear no more. They won't be afraid to take one of the most expensive courses that a student can choose. Because our city will shoulder their tuition fee so they can study medicine."

Also, through this program, it can be ensured that Taguig's hospitals and health centers will have excellent doctors via their "return-service commitment."

The INVEST Scholarship program covers Taguig residents who will or are already studying medicine at the following institutions:

• Ateneo de Manila University School of Medicine and Public Health
• Centro Escolar University-Manila
• De La Salle University Health Sciences Institute
• Far Eastern University-Nicanor Reyes Medical Foundation
• Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila
• St. Luke's College of Medicine
• San Beda University
• University of the East Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center (UERM)
• University of Santo Tomas
• University of the Philippines-Manila
