In collaboration with the Leighton-First Balfour Joint Venture (LFBJV), the FTI Station East Diaphragm Wall will be constructed for the NSCR-Ex project.

While the aforementioned route is closed, motorists heading south will be rerouted to a temporary diversion road at the PNR Right-of-Way, while the northbound lane toward Makati will remain open for traffic with the current East Service Road alignment in use.

Coordination will also be implemented for the traffic management scheme for the East Service Road Expansion Project by Ayala given the temporary situation for motorists in the area.

Signs and traffic advisories will be placed in affected areas to guide motorists on their routes.

"We seek the public's cooperation and understanding for this temporary inconvenience, as the government continues its efforts to provide a better and more reliable commuting experience for Filipino commuters," DOTr stated.

The NSCR-Ex is a 147-kilometer regional railway system aimed at connecting the National Capital Region (NCR) with the provinces of Central Luzon and CALABARZON.

Upon completion, it will provide fast travel to Clark City in Pampanga and Calamba, Laguna.
