In commemoration of the 126th Philippine Independence Day on June 12, 2024, two activities reminding us of love for our country will be held at Bonifacio Global City (BGC), Taguig City.

A long slow distance (LSD) run will kick off in BGC and conclude at Kilometer Zero or Rizal Park on June 12.

Starting at 4:30 in the morning, the run will begin at McDonald's BGC on 40th Street and finish at Luneta Park in Manila. Some participants will also come from UP Diliman - Oblation and Amoranto Stadium in Quezon City, as well as Mall of Asia - Vikings in Pasay City, and will rendezvous at Luneta.

Meanwhile, a group exhibition centered on Philippine culture and history can be experienced at Galerie Joaquin on the Upper Ground Floor of One Bonifacio High Street Mall, corner of 5th Avenue and 28th Street, BGC, Taguig on June 12, 2024. The exhibition will run until June 16, 2024.

Among the artists whose works depict the colourful and historical past of the Philippines are Dominic Rubio, Juanito Torres, Richard Arimado, Almer Moneda, and Joemarie Sanclaria Chua.

Titled "Pilipinas," the exhibition aims to revive the love and dedication to the country of those who will gaze upon these artworks.
