Four homes were affected by the fire, according to Barangay Western Bicutan.
In their social media post, they said that their Barangay Fire and Rescue Team, in collaboration with the Barangay Law Enforcer and Security Force, and the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP)-Taguig, as well as Fire and Rescue Volunteers from various Barangays of Taguig, took the lead in extinguishing the fire.
Residents also worked together to put out the fire.
"Continued coordination and vigilance are being maintained to ensure the safety of the barangay residents and to prevent the incident from worsening," according to the statement of Barangay Western Bicutan.
Meanwhile, another fire broke out in a house at Molave St. Creekland, Barangay Hagonoy, Taguig City last night at 8:39 PM.
The first alarm was raised at 8:54 PM and was controlled by 9:28 PM. The fire was completely extinguished by 9:40 PM.
