The typhoon is now heading towards Taiwan, but there is still a possibility it could return to the PAR. The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) continues to monitor the situation.
Meanwhile, another tropical cyclone-like vortex could potentially develop in the northeastern part of PAR or the east of Northern Luzon. However, the chances of it developing into a full typhoon are low.
In the report released by PAGASA at 5:00 pm today, it is estimated there will be heavy rainfall due to the tail end of the typhoon from now until tomorrow afternoon, July 5, 2025 in the following areas (50-100 mm): Ilocos Norte and Batanes.
From tomorrow afternoon until Sunday afternoon, July 6, 2025, there will be 50-100 mm of rainfall in Batanes.
The southwest monsoon will also bring heavy rainfall (50-100 mm) to Ilocos Sur and La Union from now until tomorrow.
And from tomorrow until Sunday afternoon, July 6, moderate to heavy rainfall (50-100 mm) is expected in Ilocos Norte and Ilocos Sur.
