Typhoon Kiyapo, situated more than 500 kilometers east of Tuguegarao City, Cagayan, is packing winds with a speed of 55 kilometers per hour and gusts reaching up to 70 kilometers per hour.

The typhoon continues to move northwestward until Saturday, July 25, 2026, towards the Luzon Strait, before veering north-northwest.
The center of Typhoon Kiyapo is estimated to approach the northeast part of Cagayan this Friday morning through the afternoon.
It might make landfall near Babuyan Islands or pass close by between this afternoon and evening.
Typhoon Kiyapo is expected to exit the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) on Saturday morning.
Its direction is headed towards the southern mainland of China.
