Nine arrest warrants for large-scale illegal recruitment and fraud were served to a 33-year-old female businesswoman who was arrested in McKinley Hill, Barangay Pinagsama, Taguig City.

Personnel of the Makati City Police Station Sub-Station 7 served the warrants to the suspect, known as Loraine, yesterday at 5:30, July 14, 2026, at her unit in Tower II, The Florence Condominium, McKinley Hill.

The suspect, originally from Bulacan, faces three cases of Large-Scale Illegal Recruitment in Batangas and Cavite, five cases of Fraud in Bulacan and Cavite, in addition to 15 instances of Bouncing Checks under Batas Pambansa Bilang 22 in Makati and San Juan City.

No recommended bail was set for her Illegal Recruitment case.

Southern Police District Director Police Brig. General Glenn Oliver Cinco praised the diligent efforts of the Makati Police in tracking down the suspect.

"Neutralizing high-profile individuals wanted for large-scale illegal recruitment and extensive financial fraud projects a strong message that the law will protect citizens from predatory schemes, ensuring fugitives are brought before the bars of justice regardless of where they attempt to hide," Cinco stated.
