Over ₱1.3 million worth of prohibited drugs were confiscated from a woman and two men after they met with an undercover buyer at a fast food restaurant in Barangay Lower Bicutan, Taguig on May 25, 2026.

Approximately 200 grams of suspected methamphetamine, locally known as shabu, were seized by the Drug Enforcement Unit of the Southern Police District (SPD) and Taguig City Police Station from the suspects, known as alias Joharia, 23 years old; alias Yaser, 18 years old, and alias Jamal, 28 years old.

The three suspects met with the undercover buyer around 11:28 in the evening at a fast food restaurant in Barangay Lower Bicutan to make the transaction.

They were unaware that other police officers were already on standby, who swiftly apprehended them once the payment for the illegal drugs was handed over.

Three packets of suspected shabu, one genuine ₱1,000 bill, 99 pieces of ₱1,000 boodle money, and a cellular phone were retrieved from the suspects.

The prohibited drugs weighed an estimated 200 grams, priced at approximately ₱1,360,000.

The trio now faces charges for violating Republic Act 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
