Under the program "Taguig Flu-Protected Grandfathers and Grandmothers: Fight the Flu, Prevent Pneumonia Complications," the aforementioned seniors are now protected against the flu and its severe consequence, pneumonia.
"Getting vaccinated helps protect you against flu and possible complications such as pneumonia, helping you stay healthy and safe," asserted the City Government of Taguig.
The vaccinations were administered at designated venues in Taguig's barangays.
There are 120,000 registered senior citizens in Taguig.
