Authorities pretended to purchase drugs from the suspect, known as alias 'Boss', a resident of San Agustine Street, Barangay Pembo. They apprehended him at the corner of Buendia Avenue and Roxas Boulevard, Barangay 76, Pasay City around 12:30 p.m.
Pasay Police Chief Colonel Mario Mayames revealed that alias 'Boss' had been under surveillance for some time before finally being caught in the buy-bust operation conducted by the Pasay City Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) last Wednesday.
Seized from alias 'Boss' were 109.1 grams of shabu, a mobile phone, 69 pieces of PHP 1,000 marked money, and a motorcycle.
Alias 'Boss' has been charged with violating Republic Act 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
He is currently detained at the Southern Police District (SPD) Custodial Facility.
The seized shabu has been forwarded to the SPD Forensic Unit for appropriate analysis.
