Claire Feliciano of Meralco also assured that a crew would be dispatched immediately to fix the burned post.

Feliciano explained that the frequent catching fire of electrical posts is often due to overloading or excessive power usage by the citizens because of the extreme heat of the weather.

An anonymous Taguig.com member appealed for a long-term solution to the frequent burning of electrical posts.

"We are asking for help from the barangay officials and Meralco to find a long-term solution to this, as this is the second time it has happened in a week and it's very alarming for all the residents," the Taguig.com member stated.
