The Bisigkleta and Fun Run 2026 is part of the celebration of the Adoption and Alternative Child Care Week (AACCW), this year's theme being "Love Makes a Family."
AACCW is an annual observance in the country held every second week of June.
It is mandated by Republic Act No. 11642, promoting legal adoption and alternative care such as foster care for orphaned, abandoned, or neglected children who long for a loving family to call their own.
