The number of cases of influenza-like-illness (ILI) in Taguig City is decreasing.
According to the City Epidemiology and Disease Surveillance Unit (CEDSU), from 35 cases reported between September 14-20, 2025, the number of illnesses had dropped to just 7 cases by the latest report on October 11, 2025.
Those affected are children aged between 1 to 5 years old.
No cases have been reported in Barangay Fort Bonifacio and Barangay Ususan.
Single cases have been recorded in Barangay Pinagsama, Tuktukan, and Ibayo.
The Department of Education - National Capital Region suspended face-to-face classes in public schools on October 13 and 14, 2025, due to the rising number of illnesses.
The CEDSU and health centers continue to monitor the situation. Fever Fast Lanes at the city health centers, the Taguig-Pateros District Hospital (TPDH), and the Taguig City General Hospital (TCGH) remain active. The aim is to promptly address children showing symptoms such as fever, cough, or a cold.
The Taguig City Government reminds the public that if children have a fever, cough or cold, they should be taken to a health center for consultation immediately.
